FlameProtect is a special additive when applied on our solid wood mouldings will reduce their flammability.

Our wood mouldings are treated with a product specially formulated for outdoor and indoor applications. This product contains polymers and surfactants that allow it to penetrate all wood surfaces and create an adhesion bond.

Our sealant has a tendency to bring out the natural beauty of the wood surface whether it is mouldings or other wood products. The fire resistance is accomplished by allowing the product to cure in the wood moulding thus noticeably reducing flammability.

It contains elements that seal in the active fire retardant chemicals. It not only retards flammability in the material being treated, it is of pyrolitic and intumescent paint, a formulation that prevents flames from spreading by developing a self-extinguishing reaction. It does not contain any toxic or carcinogenic chemicals such as Bromides and Formaldehyde.

The addition of FlameProtect on solid wood mouldings make it ideal as a safety feature applicable to schools, hospitals, day care facilities, hotels, aircrafts and all residential and commercial applications.
